Falcon’s Classic FX 90cm dual fuel range cooker features a single spacious multi function oven plus 5 gas burners including a multi ring burner, Teppanyaki style griddle plate and wok cradle. But what makes the FX unique is the energy saving panel (ESP) which allows you to switch from a full size 114 litre oven cavity that’s great for cooking en masse, to a modest 49 litre oven that uses less energy when cooking smaller dishes. Multi-function oven - The spacious multi-function oven combines fan and conventional functions with grilling, base heat and browning elements, all of which can be used individually. Functions include fan assisted, fanned grilling, conventional oven, fan oven, browning element, defrost and base heat.
Energy Saving Panel - At the heart of the Professional+ 90cm FX cooker’s unique construction is the Energy Saving Panel (ESP). This removable panel allows you to switch from a full size oven that’s great for cooking en-masse, to a more modest compact oven that uses less energy when cooking smaller dishes. When the panel is in place the spare cavity acts as a handy plate warming facility, using residual heat from the adjacent oven. The oven comes with both full width and half width shelving to use in full size or compact operation. When not in use the panel and shelves can be stored in the full width storage drawer below.
Programmable oven - The programmable timer allows you to pre-program the oven, to commence cooking and stop at a specific time. During those busy occasions, your meal will be cooked to perfection at just the right time.
Storage drawer - The full width storage drawer provides ample storage for trays and dishes, saving valuable space in kitchen cupboards and drawers.
Slow Cook - All Falcon upright cookers offer the ability to slow cook. Temperatures can be set as low as 80°C which is great to slow cook casseroles and large joints of meat as well as to dry foods such as apples, pears and kiwi fruit. Slow cooking allows meats to cook more evenly (inside and out). It is imperative to use a temperature probe to check the internal temperature when cooking is nearing completion (desired internal temperature will depend on the meat) to ensure the meat is cooked sufficiently.
Teppanyaki griddle - Cook healthy food Japanese-style with the unique Teppanyaki style griddle plate that fits snugly over the burners. It is coated for non-stick easy cleaning.
Multi-ring wok burner and cast iron pan supports - Immensely powerful and controllable, the wok ring boasts a multi-ring burner, often used with a handy cast iron cradle to keep the wok safely in position. The cast iron pan supports are strong, durable and easy to clean.
Flame failure safety device - A Flame Safety Devices is fitted to the gas burner system, and will automatically shut off the fuel supply should the flame accidentally extinguish, therefore making the gas hob safer.
Height adjustable - The height of the cooker can be adjusted between 905 and 930mm to match almost any benchtop.
