The ICBNH 5173 fully integrated fridge-freezer featuring BioFresh with HydroBreeze and internal IceMaker (plumbed) provides an elegant solution for a perfect, seamless kitchen, thanks to Liebherr’s door on door technology. With Liebherr’s NoFrost technology, the food is frozen with chilled recirculating air, and any humidity is expelled. As a result, the freezer is always free of ice, and food no longer frosts over. NoFrost convenience makes defrosting a thing of the past. With DuoCooling providing two completely separate cooling circuits, there is no air exchange between the refrigerator and freezer compartment. This prevents odour transfer and stops the stored food from drying out.

BioFresh with Hydrobreeze - A cold mist covers fruit and vegetables like a protective balm. It ensures crisp freshness and improves structure - the special wow effect for fruit and vegetables in the BioFresh Professional safe. The cold mist combined with a temperature in the drawer of around 0 °C gives food that extra a boost for longer shelf life.
NoFrost Liebherr’s - NoFrost appliances offer professional quality refrigeration. The food is surrounded by a stream of ice cold air and quickly freezes, preserving vitamins and flavour. Excess humidity is taken out of the freezer compartment so that the appliance never frosts over. Defrosting is no longer necessary.
SuperFrost - The automatic SuperFrost function reduces the temperature in your freezer to as low as -32°C, depending on the model, switching back to normal operation once it has reached minimum temperature. By activating prior to grocery shopping it will reduce the likelihood that existing items will suffer from excessive temperature rise while the door is left open for loading or temperature transfer from added warmer items.
SuperCool - The SuperCool function reduces the temperature of the refrigerator to +2°C or +3°C for 6 to 12 hours, depending on the model, switching back to normal operation automatically. By activating prior to grocery shopping, it will assist with cooling the new food more rapidly, thereby prolonging food preservation.
PowerCooling - PowerCooling system features a FreshAir activated charcoal filter. The fan – as powerful as it is quiet – distributes the cold air efficiently throughout the entire refrigeration compartment. Whilst the activated charcoal filter is directly in the air stream of the fan to ensure pleasant fresh air at all times.
Ice Maker - Liebherr’s internal IceMaker, which is permanently plumbed in, provides a constant supply of perfect ice cubes for every occasion. The IceMaker replenishes your supply automatically and can be turned off if needed.
Touch & Swipe Display - When using the touch and swipe controls, the functions are selected by tapping and swiping on the high quality TFT colour display. Actual temperature, along with the desired target temperature are always displayed.
LED Light Tower - Flush mounted in the side walls, LightTower is positioned in such a way that light in front of the glass shelves also illuminates the space. In the BioFresh Professional model the LightTower also extends right into the drawer.
VarioSpace - Shelves in the freezer are made of safety glass and are removable to create VarioSpace, the practical system for extra storage. The transparent drawers are extra deep and are designed so that all frozen foods will fit conveniently, neatly and are easy to remove. Every drawer can be used both for freezing and storage.
Integrated Bottle Shelf - The integrated bottle shelf is the practical and elegant answer for storing drinks. Bottles can be chilled quickly and kept stored in a secure and space-saving way.
Glassline Shelves - The attractive stainless steel trims add an elegant design touch to the harmonious appearance of the scratch resistant and easy to clean GlassLine storage shelves. One of the glass shelves is sectioned so that the front half can slide under the other, providing added flexibility and storage for tall containers and bottles.
SmartSteel interior - The inner door and the rear wall of the fridge compartment are covered with a SmartSteel stainless steel panel which reduces the visibility of fingerprints and creates a ‘dry rear wall’.
SmartDevice ready - With the purchase of a SmartDeviceBox (optional extra) and by downloading the associated app, you can control your fridge or freezer directly from your smartphone or tablet – conveniently and from anywhere in the world. Status messages – for example if a door has been left open – are also sent directly to your smartphone as push messages.
