29 bottle capacity - Easily store up to 29 Bordeaux (750ml) bottles. The perfectly shaped housings provide ample storage for bottles with different diameters and heights, such as Bordeaux-type bottles, heavy champagne bottles or magnum bottles, without risk of sliding.
Highly resistant UV glass - Layered glass panels in Smeg's built-in wine cellars provide protection from solar light and UV rays which can impact the wine's balance and scent. This UV resistant glass creates the optimal storage environment for wine whilst providing maximum transparency.
Cold LED lighting - Cold LED lighting is used to maintain a constant temperature whilst providing fantastic visibility to the interior racks. The lighting can be independently controlled via the internal touch pad, and when the door is opened, the lighting is activated automatically.
Vibration protection - Equipped with an ultra-quiet cooling system to keep vibrations to a minimum and allow the wine to mature steadily. Even the smallest vibrations can affect wine by lifting sediments, causing different components to mix, and altering the balance developed during the ageing period.
Premium sliding oak racks - Made in Italy, these racks are crafted from the same oak as traditional wine barrels. The smooth movement on the telescopic sliding oak racks prevents rubbing and abrupt movements that can disturb wine sediment, offering easy placement, storage, and removal of the bottles.
Extreme precision - High precision electronic control system keeps the set temperature constant, even when the external temperature varies. The Smeg wine cellars can be set between 5°C and 20°C, guaranteeing optimal conditions for every wine and allowing them to mature steadily.
Utmost flexibility - With independent temperature controls and two separate zones in the cellar, the individual zones can be adjusted to suit various wine varieties. This is particularly ideal for storing red, white, or sparkling wines at their optimal respective drinking temperatures. Alternatively, the zones could be set to mature wines steadily.
Seamless door design - The push-to-open door operation is effortless and functional whilst offering an elegant clean exterior and striking design. Plus, you can reverse the door to optimise access to the wine cellar as it best suits you.
