A Miele washing machine or washer/dryer combo installation includes:
Unpacking and preparing the appliance for installation
Inspection of the appliance(s) for any existing damage or defects
Connection of the appliance(s) to existing electric, and/or water services (Electrical and water inlets must be within 1.5m of each product)
Insertion of the appliance(s) into the niche/cavity
Leveling and securing of the appliance(s)
Product testing and demonstration to ensure satisfactory performance
Collection and removal of all packing materials
Fitting of UBS kit and stacking kit
The removal of the unit from the cavity providing this is a straightforward activity without any hindrances such as raised floors, awkward cabinetry/bench tops. Miele reserves the right not to proceed with installation if the appliance or customer's assets may be compromised or damaged.
Important points to note:
This service can only be purchased as an add-on through our website in conjunction with Miele washers and washer/dryer combos. If you would like to add installation to an existing order, please contact our team to arrange it.
Installation will be carried out at the point of delivery.
Disposal/recycling of the old appliance(s) is not included as part of a Miele installation but is available as an additional service.
Miele will only stack a dryer during installation if a compatible Miele stacking kit is included on the order or present when installation commences. Please contact one of our Miele specialists if you need advice on stacking kit compatibility or alternative stacking installation options.
Miele will not install onto a plinth, cabinetry or raised surfaced as part of this service. Please contact us to discuss alternative plinth, cabinetry or raised surfaced installation options.
Miele installers are trained to install the Miele laundry/dishwasher and refrigeration range, however, they are not plumbers or electricians and this type of work cannot be performed by them. Your installer will inspect the facilities prior to installation to ensure:
The electrical and inlet water connections are in working condition and within 1.5 metres of the appliance.
The water valve (tap) is fitted with a ¾ inch male thread.
